Whatever calming practices work for you, do them more often.
For example, all of these help you shift your awareness and be in the present:Meditate often during the day, not just once.
Take stretching breaks.
Go outside and notice the beautiful sky.
Breathe deeply, consciously drawing in fresh air and blowing out the old.
Release, consciously, whatever is weighing you down.
For example:When you see the waning full moon each night (right now, and for another week), set your own intent to minimize something in your life that weighs you down.
Breathe your heaviness into the sun to transform, or into the air to float away.
Lie flat on the earth and let everything go; then draw in the nourishing energy of the Mother.
Apologize if you lose it. The recipient is probably just as stressed as you, and will appreciate being able to forgive and forget.
Forgive yourself for not doing enough, not being enough, or being too tired or scared to speak up.
